Encouraging Vulnerability in the Workplace With Corey Blake

In this video clip, Corey Blake, founder and CEO of Round Table Companies, shares advice for implementing a structure in the workplace that allows employees to be vulnerable. There is fragility surrounding this topic so it must be done with care. The boss must be willing to participate or no one else will feel safe enough to do so. Communicate that it is voluntary and invite people to share in whatever way feels comfortable to them. Finally, ask everyone to be present by putting away their phones.

If the boss in the room is not someone who is willing to participate, then no one else is going to follow suit."
