Vivek Kopparthi is the co-founder and CEO of NeoLight, a medical device firm that develops incubators to cure jaundice in newborns. The NeoLight mission is to ensure that all newborns have access to jaundice treatment and, ultimately, to eradicate jaundice casualties all over the world. Vivek has experience with medical devices and in medical technology entrepreneurship
The company has received several awards and honors including the Spirit of Enterprise award for entrepreneurship. It was listed in the Top 5 MedTech Companies to Watch in Arizona by several magazines and secured $600,000 in funding in November of 2015. Not to mention winning the Flinn Foundation Bioscience Entrepreneurship Grant this year. They were also listed as one of the Top 32 Companies in the South West for Most Innovative / Promising Company in the Venture Madness Contest.
