At the end of February, a handful of YEC members gathered at a private residence in L.A. for the YEC L.A. Founders Dinner. Generously sponsored by Andela, William Hill Estate Winery, and La Marca the event was co-hosted by Place Invaders.
The location of the dinner was revealed to members the day of the event, making for a fun surprise for attendees, who included Peter Awad of Slow Hustle, Bridget Hilton of LSTN Headphones, Kelly Gibbons and Beth Doane of Main & Rose, Erik Huberman of Hawke Media, Mickey Meyer of JASH, Kate Hancock of OC Facial Care Center, Nina Ojeda of The Avenue West, Chris Van Dusen of Parcon Media, and Dmitriy Katsel of Spring Theory.
These attendees were both long-time and new YECers, some of whom were familiar with each other while others enjoyed the new conversations and connections in the room.
For this dinner, members had exclusive access to this expansive residence equipped with a pool table and outdoor patio which overlooked the Marina Del Ray and Venice areas of L.A. The vibe was very high with the perfect balance of entertainment and music and intimate conversation in nooks throughout the location.
Dinner included a dish with veal, eggplant, goat cheese, and Aleppo pepper paired with a Napa Valley Bench Blend Red wine, and a dish of lamb, okra, and fried plantains paired with a Napa Valley Cabernet, among a few other courses, all paired with select wines.
Photography for the event was provided by Pretty Instant, and YEC members can see the full set of photos from the event here. You can also learn more about upcoming events in your city at events.yec.co.
