YEC member Erica Dhawan, CEO at Cotential, will be launching a book — coauthored with Saj-nicole Joni — called “Get Big Things Done: The Power of Connectional Intelligence” later this month, on February 24.
The book dives into the introduction and importance of connectional intelligence — a modern skill that rides on the ability to “combine knowledge, ambition and human capital, forging connections on a global scale that create unprecedented value and meaning.”
The book also taps into the secrets of powerful business leaders and innovators, and how these people are using connectional intelligence to move up the professional ladder and to achieve ambitious personal goals.
"I believe that connectional intelligence is the leadership trait of our generation,” says Dhawan. “It's a key skill for entrepreneurs to get big things done.”
“Get Big Things Done” features a wide range of detailed examples, including how — with the use of connectional intelligence — hip-hop artist Pharrell Williams launched an international happiness movement; how an exec at a Fortune 500 reinvigorated her company’s outdated culture by using video storytelling; and many others.
