The winning theme seems to be community-building for these YEC'ers that collected awards and nominations this fall. Two member companies are building communities within their companies and local neighborhoods, one is paving the way in its industry and a YEC'er is named an accomplished young leader.
The National Association for Business Resources named Everlaw one of the "Bay Area's Best and Brightest Companies to Work For." Everlaw, an e-discovery platform for lawyers, was evaluated based on its employee compensation and benefits, engagement, education and development, recognition, diversity, shared vision and more.
Elisa Miller-Out was nominated for the first-ever 2015 Upstate Venture Ecosystem Awards. The awards are organized by Upstate Venture Connect and the Upstate Venture Association of New York. Miller-Out is nominated for a Community Catalyst Award, which celebrates individuals that help unite diverse ecosystem leaders in their local community. Miller-Out's company, Singlebrook, uses technology to support clients who make a positive social and environmental impact.

Shalyn Dever was named a "40 under 40" honoree by the Orlando Business Journal. The list celebrates the top young professionals in Central Florida. All honorees are invited to a reception to celebrate their careers. Dever's company, Chatter Buzz Media, is a digital marketing and advertising agency.
