YEC Members Companies Featured, Highlighted and Awarded Across Various Organizations

YEC members have been busy the last few months, and their efforts are being realized across the nation. Below we highlight six members who are doing big things.

Carnivore Club Named Best New Website Redesign in 2018

eTail Canada named YEC member Tim Ray's company Carnivore Club the best new website redesign in 2018. Finalists included E.B. Horsman & Son and L’Oreal Canada. Carnivore Club is the world’s first subscription service that delivers premium cured meats to your door.

According to the eTail website, Carnivore Club took home the gold because they "sought to reinvent their website to provide flexible subscription options and a gifting check-out flow that eliminated customer friction. They designed a way for customers to gift up to 10 different ship-to addresses/recipients during a single flow, as well as building out new capabilities that lets users customize the length and duration of their subscriptions with a dynamic basket calculator to show the purchase total at all times." Read more about this exciting news here.

The company was also a finalist for the Magento Imagine conference's best new website award.

ZIVELO Highlighted as Key to McDonald's Success

YEC member Ziver Birg's company ZIVELO, which has provided McDonald’s with self-order kiosks since 2015, was named a key driver in the chain's equity strategy by R.J. Hottovy, Morningstar Equity Research sector strategist. Learn more about the recognition on CNBC.

ZIVELO is a public computing technology company that offers self-service kiosk and digital signage solutions. Its technology has been utilized across multiple industries, including healthcare, retail, transportation and business administration.

Kathryn Minshew Spotlighted as Female Founders Fund Partner

YEC member and The Daily Muse co-founder and CEO Kathryn Minshew is a partner of female founders fund XFactor Ventures, which was recently highlighted on Forbes. XFactor Ventures provides needed capital, connections and "in the trenches" advice and mentorship to its portfolio and has been up and running for about a year now. The fund is led by Brescia, Minshew and founders Anna Palmer, Aubrie Pagano, Danielle Morrill, Jessica Mah, Liz Whitman, Nicole Sanchez and Ooshma Garg. Ben Rubenstein Named Central Texas EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 

YEC member Ben Rubenstein, founder and CEO, and Michael Lam, founder and CFO, of Opcity Inc. were recently recognized as one of eight 2018 EY Entrepreneurs Of The Year for Central Texas.

The Central Texas winners in the EY awards are in the running for the national EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards, which will be revealed during the Strategic Growth Forum and National Awards Gala this November. Read more here.

Brittany Hodak and Kim Kaupe Announce Company Rebrand 

YEC members Brittany Hodak and Kim Kaupe rebranded their business known as ZinePak to bring their fans and followers The Superfan Company. The Superfan Company creates one-of-a-kind programs and products that engage superfans. They create value for their partners by providing additional bandwidth — for idea creation, research, sourcing and execution.

Says Hodak on Twitter: "After seven fun years, we're rebranding to reflect all the great strategy and creative work we do to help brands and entertainers of all types reach and engage their fandoms."
