Last Wednesday, YEC members in the Bay Area and those in town for AdTech got a chance to meet and mingle at a private YEC event at San Francisco’s One Rincon Hill. The event was co-hosted by EIR at Foundation Capital. RJ Jain, Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Foundation Capital, opened up the sky lounge so attendees could look out on the golden gate bridge and water below.
The event was presented by TriNet with exclusive food and wine pairings from Stags' Leap Winery. For example, the menu included day boat bay scallops with fava bean puree and preserved lemons along with a pleasant Napa Valley Viognier.
YEC members in attendance included John Hall, co-founder at Influence & Co.; Robert Glazer, founder at Acceleration Partners; Arjun Arora, co-founder at ImmediatelyApp; John Rampton, founder at Due; Stephen Gill, co-founder at 50onRed, David Troya, CEO at Glamping; Sinead Norenius, founder at IFabbo; Heather MgGough, co-founder at Lean Startup Co; Murray Newlands, co-founder of Due; and many more.
During the event, Justin Hart, Vice President at SurfAir, spontaneously gave away two free round-ticket trips on SurfAir. Guests shared their photos of the event on social media in order to enter. Alexis Schlamberg and John Rampton were the lucky winners.
YEC members who spoke at AdTech in San Francisco included Robert Glazer, John Hall, Brian Wong, Erik Huberman and Ryan Stoner. Topics included everything from marketing mistakes to the future of wearable technology. AdTech is a conference and exhibition where the marketing, technology and media communities come together to share new ways of thinking, build strong partnerships and define new strategies to address key industry challenges and opportunities. Several annual events around the world focus on top-notch education through keynote speakers, topic-driven panels and workshops. They also showcase the latest in products and services.
