The Techweek New York City Convention wrapped up last week from Oct. 12th-18th, bringing together entrepreneurs of up-and-coming startups, thought leaders and executives from tech giants like Google and Microsoft.
YEC hosted a Cocktail and Connections event for local members to mingle with those traveling for the convention. The evening took place in Crimson & Rye's rustic space with live jazz music to set the lively scene.
Notable attendees included: Patrick Ambron, co-founder of BrandYourself; Jared Christopherson, CSO of YellowHammer; Kate Levenstien, founder of Cannonball Productions; Sarah Carson, founder of Leota; Benoit Brookens III, founder of Accrue, Inc.; Trace Cohen, co-founder of Launch.it; Michael Dash, CEO of Parallel HR Solutions, Inc.; Tal Eidelberg, founder of Intrigma Inc.; and Randy Rayess, co-founder of VenturePact, to name a few.
Several YEC members also spoke during the Techweek conference. Alex Friedman, co-founder of Ruckus; Gerard Adams, co-founder of Elite Daily; Oisin Hanrahan, co-founder of Handybook; and Mona Patel, founder of Motivate Design all shared their expertise in the tech industry. Matthew Moisan, founder of Moisan Legal, P.C. energized the crowd as the emcee at Techweek.
Guests sipped on drinks at the horseshoe open bar at Crimson & Rye, nestled in Midtown Manhattan, and nibbled on small bites. Sauteed vegetable dumplings, prawn cocktail, pulled pork tacos and shaved beef sliders were the perfect food accompaniment. Members cozied in leather armchairs to share their business updates and challenges.
