Brittany Hodak and her company Per Diems Against Poverty, which she co-founded, was featured in the CBS News segment, "Startup Strikes Out Hunger With MLB Donations." Her new venture reallocates donated per diems from individuals and corporations to the 49 million Americans suffering in poverty.

YEC member company Hootsuite recently announced the acquisition of Sales Prodigy, a mobile app built to help sales organizations tap into social selling opportunities. Congratulations to founder and CEO Ryan Holmes. Read the Press Release here.

She's the First founder and CEO Tammy Tibbetts was featured on The Observer's "20 Under 40 Philanthropy List." YEC member Shane Snow, CCO of Contently, was also recognized!

Member Publications

Earlier this week, Rob Biederman's company, HourlyNerd, released a paper entitled, “How to Run Your Enterprise Like a Lean Startup,” that explores how four marquee brands, GE, Intuit, Amgen and BASF, manage to execute nimbly at scale and prove that large can also be lean.

YEC member company Andela was featured in the CNN article, "Want to Join the World's Most Exclusive All-Female Developer Team." Andela Kenya has opened applications for an all-female contingent in the country's capital Nairobi.

In her latest piece in Motto, a new publication from TIME, YEC member Susan Strayer LaMotte discusses "How She's Learned to Cope with Mom Guilt" as an entrepreneur.
