Your Weekly YEC Social Roundup

Each week, we like to post what’s been going on with some of our members in the world of social media. Our recap will cover member news and highlights, external publications and hiring needs.

Member News & Highlights

This month, YEC member Nick Bayer, CEO of Saxbys Coffee, is partnering with Alex's Lemonade Stand to raise awareness and money to fight childhood cancer. In the Philadelphia area? Stop by their "Lemon Bash" event at the Saxbys Headquarters where there will be specialty lemonade cocktails, performances by the Philadelphia Circus Company and an amazing crowd of philanthropists!

Congratulations to YEC'er Andy Karuza on the official launch of FenSens: The world's first smart parking device. Their goal? To make new car technology affordable, easy-to-use, and work right out of the box for any driver without professional help. Go here to watch the promo video.

Member Publications

Earlier this week, Back to the Roots co-founders Nikhil Arora and Alejandro Velez were featured in Conscious Company Magazine. The article, "Find Joy in Work: Inside Back to the Roots," depicts a "day-in-the-life" of these two entrepreneurs to understand the secrets to their success, the lessons they’ve learned along the way, and what their mission of “making food personal again” will require.

In her latest Inc article, "7 Easy Ways to Inspire Yourself When You're Stuck in a Rut (and Just Going Through the Motions)," Elle Kaplan discusses how super-successful entrepreneurs find daily inspiration to help them stay on track at work and offers tips on how you can do the same. The Lexion Capital founder and CEO writes, "If you’re feeling uninspired due to the day-to-day monotony, pretending to be seven-years-old again is a perfect way to rekindle that spark."
