Your Weekly YEC Social Roundup

Each week, we like to post what’s been going on with some of our members in the world of social media. Our recap will cover member news and highlights, external publications and hiring needs.

Member News & Highlights

Earlier this week, YEC member Kenny Nguyen's "Talks at Google: The Big Fish Experience" went live. He discusses how to craft a presentation, form content, design and deliver with success. He writes, "We truly strive to make a dent in the world in ridding boring experiences through Big Fish Presentations and Three Sixty Eight and this video is another step forward in our goal."

Congratulations to Carrie Rich, CEO of The Global Good Fund, for being named a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2016 Award in the Mid-Atlantic program!

Round Table Companies CEO Corey Blake recently launched his "Vulnerability is Sexy" game on Kickstarter. He writes, "Vulnerability is a tough topic to take on. The world likes to discuss vulnerability, but living it is harder. Our goal is to continue to be a beacon for people who are leaning towards opening up and sharing more of themselves."

Member Publications

Recently, YEC members David Hassell of 15Five and Sean Kelly of SnackNation collaborated to publish the following podcast: "How to Use Discomfort and Stress to Create High-Performance (pt. 2)." In this second part of the interview, David explains that trust is the fundamental to growth and expands how having a trusting culture can help businesses succeed.

Earlier this week, YEC'er Lane Campbell sat down to interview fellow YEC'er Corey Blake to talk about his business, thought leadership and advice he has for other aspiring entrepreneurs. Go here to watch the interview.
