Congratulations to YEC'er Shama Hyder for publishing her second book, "Momentum: How to Propel Your Marketing and Transform Your Brand in the Digital Age." YEC member Jānis Krūms, founder and CEO of Opportunity, recently announced the launch of the first-ever "Influence of Social Media" Scholarship for incoming college freshmen or undergraduate and graduate students. “Our hope is that this ‘Opportunity Influence of Social Media’ scholarship will present one promising young mind with the means to continue his or her education and unlock the door to even more – opportunities," says Krums.

Norwegian startup, Unacast, where Chris Cunningham serves as CRO, just announced its $5 million Series A led by Open Ocean Capital and Investinor, bringing the company’s total funding to $6.6 million. Go here to read the press release!
