Congratulations to YEC'er Lauren Maillian for receiving the Smart CEO's Brava Award at the Social Good Summit earlier this week in New York City. The Award celebrates female CEOs, nonprofit leaders and high impact executives who combine their irrepressible entrepreneurial spirit and leadership with a passion for giving back to the community.

Aaron Schwartz recently announced that Modify Watches is raising money on AngelList and also hiring for heads of marketing and technology. If you know of anyone who might be a fit, please let him know.

Are you attending Thrive Las Vegas during October 16-18th? Yesterday, Robert Glazer's company Acceleration Partners was ranked as the 5th "Best Place to work in the US for Women" by Great Place to Work Institute & Fortune Magazine. Congratulations to Robert and his team for the honor and well deserved recognition.

YEC'er Timothy Sykes contributed an piece to Entrepreneur titled, "5 Sources for Learning What It Takes to Become a Millionaire." In the article, Tim emphasizes the importance of education when creating one's success: "Nothing is as important as your education.
